My favourite Christmas films.
I would like to share with you my favourite films that I watch around Christmas time.
Watching them is my tradition and I do it every year.
I have watched these Christmas films a few times already. But I can watch them over and over again 🙂
If you know and also like these films, let me know.
Prepare a cup of hot chocolate and watch my favourite Christmas films with me 🙂
1. Love Actually (Comedy, Drama, Romance)
My absolute favourite! I know it by heart 🙂 I watch it at least 3 times every year 😉
This film follows the lives of eight very different couples. They deal with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales. They’re all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England.
BUT it’s not just another romantic comedy.
It’s full of many different emotions. You can laugh and cry while watching this film.
It stole my heart right from the start. ‘Love actually’ is absolutely amazing. It’s actually an excellent film.
The cast is brilliant (btw I adore Hugh Grant ;))
If you have never watched it, I recommend that you do it this year.
If you have already watched it, do it again 🙂
2. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Comedy, Family, Fantasy)
Another brilliant film for the Christmas time. I and my husband we watch it every single year.
On the outskirts of Whoville, there lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch. He plans on ruining the Christmas holiday for all of the citizens of the town.
It’s a great story with a moral.
This film is full of humour, wittiness but also wisdom.
‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas’ is not only for children. In fact, I think that adults will find it very inspiring and fun at the same time.
Have you watched it?
3. A Christmas Carol (Animation, Drama, Family)
It’s a beautiful film. Another story with a moral.
This film is an animated retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic novel. It’s about a Victorian-era miser. He’s taken on a journey of self-redemption by several mysterious Christmas apparitions.
Although it’s an animated film, I think that it’s not for children.
It’s dark, sometimes scary but full of wisdom.
I like it a lot and I hope that you will like it too 🙂
Those are my favourite Christmas films. Let me know if you know them or like them.
Also, tell me about your favourite Christmas films:)
What do you like watching before or during Christmas?
Take care and happy holidays,
