What to watch, read or listen to get inspired and motivated. Part 1.
I’d like to welcome you to something new here.
If you read my blog, you already know that I love self-improving.
I enjoy reading, watching and listening to inspiring things.
Everything that brings value to my life is very important to me.
Every day I spend at least 30 minutes to educate, self-improve or learn something new.
Why do I do it? Read it here: How to achieve personal growth.
Also if you want to know more, read about the importance of self-improvement.
How to get inspired and motivated?
Let’s get down to my recommendations.
- You can read, watch or listen to them on your way to work or school.
- You can also do this while cleaning or cooking.
- Any time is a great time to learn something new.
1. TO READ.
Tom Corley: Stand Out and Escape the Herd (1 minute)
Tom Corley is an author, speaker and media contributor.
He is the author of ‘Change you habits change your life’, ‘Rich habits’ and ‘Rich kids’.
He studied the life of self-made, first-generation rich millionaires.
Now he writes about everything that he learnt from them.
I haven’t read his books yet but his Daily Success Habits I read EVERY DAY.
It’s only a 1 minute read but it will make you think.
It brought a lot of value to my life and now I hope that it will help you too.
You should definitely read it. It’s only about a minute.
2. TO WATCH / TO LISTEN TO.
Mark Zuckerberg : How to Build the Future (26 minutes)
I am sure that you know who Mark Zuckerberg is.
If you don’t know him, he is the founder of Facebook.
He built the most influential company in the world.
In this interview he talks about the beginnings of Facebook, where he got the idea for it and what pushed him forward.
I highly recommend this interview. Devote those 26 minutes of your time and listen to what he has to say.
Whether you like Zuckerberg, agree with his ideas, use Facebook or you don’t, have an open mind and listen to his story.
- Even though Zuckerberg is such a succesful person, in my opinion he is humble.
- He became an entrepreneur simply by taking the bull by its horns, taking risks and being persistent.
- He created the life he has now by himself.
- He had an idea and put it into action.
Watch this video and listen to his story.
- If you want to listen to it for example on your way to work, you can make an MP3 out of it.
Just go to Listen to YouTube .
Paste the YouTube URL (so, in this case https://youtu.be/Lb4IcGF5iTQ ).
This application will quickly extract the audio as a downloadable MP3.
That’s great, isn’t it !
Now all you have to do is download it and transfer to the device on which you want to listen to it.
You can use this application with every YouTube video that you want to listen to instead of watch.
Watch or listen to this interview. I higly recommend it.
3. TO THINK ABOUT
Now something to contemplate and think about.
Aristotle’s quote that I couldn’t agree more with.
And life lessons advice from an 80-year-old man. So simple but so true.
That’s all for now. I hope you will check them out.
If you do, let me know.
Hopefully, you will learn something new and interesting.
Get inspired and motivated with me 🙂
